Computerized Digital Radiography
In keeping with Twin Cities Dental Center’s commitment to using the most advanced and effective technologies available, we use Air Techniques Computerized (ATC) Digital Radiography to take safer, better, faster, and smarter X-rays of your mouth.
ATC is superior to regular film, because it reveals greater detail and allows us to make more precise diagnoses and provide better care. In addition to that, the images can be recalled instantly, magnified (up to 300x), colorized, and reverse-contrasted-and viewed by you on the monitors in all of our treatment rooms. That means that you and your dentist can view the images in real time and work together to develop the right treatment plan.
Along with their other benefits, ATC X-rays are also environmentally-friendly, producing 90 percent less radiation.
