Infection Control
Everyone involved-patients, dentists and other team members-benefits from the strict infection controls and universal precautions Twin Cities Dental Center maintains and enforces.
These measures meet or exceed the standards set forth by such agencies as the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA,) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and include:
• Disinfectant hand soap
• Gloves and face masks
• Chemical disinfection of countertops and surfaces
• Sterilization of all equipment before every use
• Disposable materials
• All reusable equipment is sterilized in an autoclave, the gold-standard medical sterilization device that kills bacteria by the use of steam, heat and pressure.
Dr. Gendler and his team are happy to answer any questions or hear any concerns you may have about the full range of infection controls in place at Twin Cities Dental Center.
